March 31 Proclamation of Math Awareness Month in the City of Lawrence, City Hall, 5:45 pm.
April 4 Math Competition for Third-Fifth Grades, Middle School and High School Students, 2:00-3:30 pm. Registration at 2:00 pm in 406 Snow Hall. Deadline for entry, April 1.
April 7 Conversation with Brian McClendon, VP for Engineering @ Google, 1:00 – 2:00 pm, 156 Snow Hall. Registration at 2:00 pm in 406 Snow Hall. Deadline for entry, April 1.
April 13 Russell Bradt Memorial Undergraduate Mathematics Colloquium, 4:00 pm, 120 Snow Hall. Too Big to Fail (a Math test): How Stress Testing and Model Risk is Driving Jobs in Banking, Justin Hukle-VanKirk, Vice President and Director of Model Risk Management for Umpqua Bank, Portland, OR.
Panel Session with invited panelists from local industries will follow.
April 15 Students + Workshops = Success + Fun. 9:15 am – 11:30 pm, 651 Snow Hall. Workshop for fifth graders from Broken Arrow Elementary School.
April 21 Honors Banquet.

April 29 Math Competition Award ceremony, 4:30 pm, Room 306 Snow Hall.
